In the heart of Provence, in the center of the village of Grignan and only 1km from our campsite, come and visit this magnificent castle with the renaissance architecture of Madame de Sevigne<\/strong> as well as the 2 other nearby Adhemar castles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The castle of Grignan and its museum are located in the heart of the Dr\u00f4me proven\u00e7ale in Provence in the heart of the adh\u00e9mar cradle, it overlooks the plains and mountains with a 360\u00b0 view<\/strong>. This monument built on a rocky promontory with Louis XIV style facades, overlooks the village above the collegiate church. You will be dazzled by its terraces with a unique panorama and the view on the Mont Ventoux<\/a>. The Mont Ventoux is the emblematic place of the South Dr\u00f4me so if you have not yet admired it you can enjoy it of the campsite, because its view is omnipresent<\/strong>. Want to see the Mont Ventoux up close? So go and challenge him by bike, on foot or on 2 wheels!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is in the eleventh century, that we see appearing in the literary texts the name of Mrs. De Sevigne. And yes, the children study it or have studied it in class because the texts in French class often refer to Madame De S\u00e9vign\u00e9.
